Howard Zinn is a great American figure. in the beginnings of American government people like Howard would have been thrusted into high positions of power because of his ability to conceptualize the problems and improvise solutions. Now a days people with his amount of intelect are relegated to mere college professor status and characterized by the corporatocracy as "fringe" radicals that hate America.
