he's defending Mike Malloy saying that he stumped Mike Gravel when he interviewed him when he asked how minorities would be protected if we lived by our own laws.
its a ridiculous assertion.this country is split down the middle which is why our elections are always close. right now the only minority being protected is the mob of corporate lobbyists that control congress. blacks aren't protected by congress. look at Katrina. Hispanics aren't protected look at how republicans are using them as targets. gays aren't protected they're trying to amend the constitution so they can Never marry. it's a stupid argument to say minorities are better off without Ni4D
(continued) god this guy thinks so highly of himself its ridiculous. He says Ni4D is flawed and that he FEARS (fear always being the operative word) that WE THE PEOPLE would pass something unconstitutional.
well, national initiatives are bound by the constitution and the supreme court. So its impossible to pass anything unconstitutional.
and Ni4D is too simple to be flawed. simple majority no longer then 5000 words, each initiative can only be about one issue, only a natural citizen can contribute and it has to garnish enough signatures and public support before any initiative is voted on. whats the problem?
he says he fears they'll sneak in some corporate ran state...
what do you think we have now? it wouldn't be possible for our governance to be any MORE corporate then it is today. and if you think so then How?! he keeps making these statements without backing them up.

they'll sneak in corporate statehood - How? when its written in law that only a natural person can contribute.Meaning any rich person that wants to try to trick the public has to do it BY NAME.

Bush is nothing but a lobbyist for the oil industry. these people are NOT buffers and if you think they are then you're a fool. the entire congress is OWNED by the military industrial complex. thats why the majority of our budget goes to militarism. get a clue.
these aren't state initiatives. they're federal which means the entire nation of registered voters has to agree to it. you're not going to get the entire country to agree to very much so your fears lack merit. what do Americans agree on. end the war, cut military spending, abolish the IRS, affordable health care, decent education... thats IT. what initiatives beyond that do you think America will agree to? you want the government to stay in absolute control over our society
(and finally) he's asking me to continue the conversation on a clip thats about Ni4D my response is - its appropriate to have this conversation HERE because Mike Malloy is talking about his distrust of washington. Its appropriate to have this conversation on any youtube video thats about politics considering Ni4D is a proposed solution to our problems when it comes to the lack of substantial representation by our elected officials.
