American Idol is more democratic then our so called "elections"
at least they get booted off the stage based on actual support numbers and not just when coca cola says they want them off the stage.
Which is exactly what happened to Mike Gravel. He had MORE support then Kucinich, Biden, Richardson, and Dodd, and was well on his way to creating a firestorm when GENERAL ELECTRIC (the worlds worst polluters and nuclear weapons manufacturers) thought that it'd be best if THEY decided for us what persons are allowed to SPEAK on their stage.
